聖書箇所を前もって準備する
● 司会者が祈って、あらかじめ聖書箇所を選んでおきましょう。

みんなで同じ箇所を読む
● 音読する、違う訳、違う言語もあれば。
● 短い箇所の場合、ノートに書き写します。
● 意味や背景などを考え、話し合いましょう。
● 自分の言葉で意訳を言ってみましょう。

⑤ 話し合い
聖書箇所の意味と解釈などを話し合いましょう。

話し合い
必要なら、下記の質問を使いましょう。
● ピンときたところは、難しいところは？
● この箇所から、神様（イエス、み父、聖霊）について何を学べますか？
● この箇所から人間・自分について何を学べますか?

注意：
● 聖書の勉強会ではありません。
● 教えること、説教することをやめましょう。
● 意見が違っても、人の解釈を責めたり裁いたりせず、まずは受け入れましょう。安全な場所を提供することが大切です。

● 時間に注意

⑥ 聞く
祈って、聞いて、従って、分かち合いましょう。

祈る
● 数分、心を落ち着け目を閉じて祈って、聖霊様の声に耳を傾けましょう。

聞く
● この箇所を通して主が何を語っていますか？
　　ノートに書き出しましょう。

従う
● どのように神が示されたことに従いますか？

分かち合う
● 教えられたことを、誰にシェアしますか？（友人、家族など）

具体的に決断したことを実行できるよう、シェアして、互いのために祈り合いましょう。（必要なら週の間にも祈り合い、連絡を取り合って励まし合いましょう。）

The middle 3 aspects of the 3X3 are “Look Up” – centred on the process of discovering God’s voice through His word and obedience.

4. Bible
Read the Bible together.

Prepare ahead of time
● Ask the Holy Spirit before time to guide you to the right passage to read (examples below.)

Do with everyone
● Read aloud, using different versions if possible.
● If the passage is short, write it down.
● Consider historical details, or word meaning if need be. ● Have someone repeat the verse in their own words.

● Do not Judge: Matthew 18:21-35
● Prophecy: 1 Corinthians 14:1-5
● Parable of the Talents: Matthew 25:14-30

5. Discuss
Discuss the Bible passage together.

Discussion
To get the conversation going you might like to ask these questions:

● What stands out from the passage that God might be highlighting to me?
● What is challenging me?
● What can we learn about God (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) through this passage?
● What can we learn about ourselves or humans through this passage?

Caution
● Don’t teach or preach.
● Let each person have their say.
● Don’t judge people’s opinions.
● Stay on topic.
● Observe time limits.

6. Listen
Pray, Listen, Obey, Share

Pray
● Take 2 minutes to pray and listen to the Holy Spirit.

Listen
● What is the Lord speaking to me through this passage?● Write down what you feel He shares with you.

Obey
● Is there something I need to do to respond to this passage?

Share
● Is there someone I need to share this with? A friend, family member?

Share with each other and pray for one-another that we can obey what we sense God telling us to do. If need be, contact each other during the week for encouragement.
