1 神はわれらの避け所、また力
苦しむとき、そこにある助け
2 われらは恐れない。
地は変わり山々が
海のまなかに移ろうとも
7 万軍の主は
われらとともに
おられる。ヤコブの神は

わたしたちのとりで。

「静まれ。わたしこそ
神であることを知れ」

Psalm 46
1 God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.
2 Therefore we will not fear,
though the earth give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, 3 though its waters roar and foam
and the mountains quake with their surging.

7 The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress
4 There is a river whose streams make glad
the city of God,
the holy place where the Most High dwells.
5 God is within her, she will not fall;
God will help her at break of day.
6 Nations are in uproar,
kingdoms fall;
he lifts his voice, the earth melts.
10 “Be still, and know that I am God;
Be still, be still
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”
8 Come and see the works of the LORD,
the desolations he has brought on the earth.
9 He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth;
he breaks the bow and shatters the spear,
he burns the shields with fire.
10 “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”
11 The LORD Almighty is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress.

1 神はわれらの避け所、また力。苦しむとき、そこにある助け。
2 それゆえ、われらは恐れない。たとい、地は変わり山々が海のまなかに移ろうとも。
3 たとい、その水が立ち騒ぎ、あわだっても、その水かさが増して山々が揺れ動いても。セラ
4 川がある。その流れは、いと高き方の聖なる住まい、神の都を喜ばせる。
5 神はそのまなかにいまし、その都はゆるがない。神は夜明け前にこれを助けられる。
6 国々は立ち騒ぎ、諸方の王国は揺らいだ。神が御声を発せられると、地は溶けた。
7 万軍の【主】はわれらとともにおられる。ヤコブの神はわれらのとりでである。セラ
8 来て、【主】のみわざを見よ。主は地に荒廃をもたらされた。
9 主は地の果てまでも戦いをやめさせ、弓をへし折り、槍を断ち切り、戦車を火で焼かれた。
10 「やめよ。わたしこそ神であることを知れ。わたしは国々の間であがめられ、地の上であがめられる。」
