It’s amazing how we can meet people day in day out, week by week at work, school, our neighbourhoods or even at church, and never really get to know them.
It takes effort and time – but more than anything else we need a shift in our priorities.
Each of us has a deep human need to be seen. To be valued.
Of course, overall, we need to meet the Creator God Himself, and come into relationship with Him through His son Jesus Christ. In Him we are completely valued and validated through the redeeming work of the cross.

And then the Holy Spirit empowers us to become His Body on the earth to represent Him through every aspect of our lives.
Building deep connections with people is the means by which the Holy Spirit flows between us, through His Body, and then flows out to a broken, hurting world.

Simple church begins by valuing these relationships and using simple tools to deepen those connections.

1. Connect
Share a meal, tea or coffee and get to know each other.
