プロフィール

ティム＆メロディ・ブロックは、何よりもまず、音楽と証を通して神に仕えることを願っています。ブロック夫妻は2004年、4人の息子たちと共に仕事と住まいを手放し、「ミュージッショナリー（音楽宣教師）」としての旅を始めました。

ティムとメロディは、若い預言的な賛美者を育てることに情熱を注いでおり、アメリカ・ミズーリ州カンザスシティで子どもや若者のための音楽学校を設立しました（現在も継続中）。スズキ・メソッドを用いてバイオリン、フルート、ピアノ、ギターを教えるだけでなく、祈りの一形態として即興演奏を子どもたちやティーンに教えています。

ブロック夫妻はアメリカ国内外の教会やアウトリーチミニストリーで、自発的なワーシップの導きにも携わっており、トルコ、イスラエル、ギリシャ、ヨーロッパ各地、マルタ、キプロス、日本の祈りの家（HOP）で、ワーシップと音楽のトレーニングを行うために頻繁に海外ツアーを行っています。クラシック、ブルーグラス、ブルース／ジャズなど多様なスタイルでデュオ・コンサートを行いながら、世俗的・聖なる場の両方で音楽を教えています。現在は、IHOP-KC（カンザスシティの国際祈りの家）のグローバル・プレイヤー・ルームでミュージシャンとして奉仕中です。

メロディ（バイオリン）は、ニューヨークのジュリアード音楽院で修士号を取得し、その後7年間フロリダ管弦楽団で活動しました。ティム（ギター・フルート）は、セントラルフロリダ大学でギター演奏学士号を取得し、ニューヨークのプラット・インスティテュートでアート＆デザインの修士号も取得。15年間にわたりコンピューター教育業界でも働いてきました。

ティムとメロディは共にスズキ・メソッドの認定講師であり、合計30年以上の指導経験を持ち、子どもと若者のための音楽＆ワーシップキャンプを定期的に開催しています。

Profile:

Tim & Melody Brock above all desire to minister to God through their music and testimony. The Brocks began their musical prayer journey as a family (4 sons) in 2004 when they left their jobs and home to become musicianaries. Tim & Melody have a passion for raising up young prophetic musicians and started a music school for children and youth in Kansas City, MO (which still continues). Using the Suzuki method to teach violin, flute, piano & guitar, they also train teens and children to improvise as a form of prayer. The Brocks also engage in leading spontaneous worship in churches and out-reach ministries in the US and abroad. They frequently tour overseas, providing training in worship & music at Houses of Prayer (HOPs) in Turkey, Israel, Greece, Europe, Malta, Cyprus & Japan. They give concerts as a duo in a variety of styles, (including classical, bluegrass & blues/jazz), while also teaching music in both secular & sacred settings. They currently serve as musicians in the Global Prayer Room at IHOP-KC.

Tim & Melody have been active in worship and the prophetic for over 30 years, while also performing with classical chamber ensembles in the U.S., Canada, Israel, Sweden & Japan. Melody (violin) holds a masters degree in music from The Julliard School, (NYC) before holding a position with the Florida Orchestra for 7 years. Tim (guitar and flute), holds a B.A. in Guitar Performance from the University of Central Florida (UCF). He also graduated from Pratt Institute with a Masters in Art & Design (Brooklyn NY), before working in the Computer-based Training Industry for 15 years.  Both Tim and Melody are Suzuki (Music Teacher) certified with over 30 years of combined teaching experience and periodically host week-long music & worship camps for children & youth.
