Connect with other like-minded Kingdom people who are pursuing disciple making movements (DMM) in Japan - for fellowship, sharing, encouragement and equipping.

Whether you’re a long-term DMMer, or just starting out - if you are passionate to see Japan reached through multiplying disciple making we are sure you’ll be encouraged and emboldened to pursue God’s best for your community and city.

We are looking to build and invest in long-term relationships, to help catalyse disciple making movements in Japan.

FORMAT

In this small setting (maximum of about 20 attendees) we will focus on hearing vision for DMM in Japan, stories, struggles, testimonies - and have robust discussions on real-life challenges of DMM, and then take a good amount of time for prayer and encouragement of one another.

Everyone attending will be invited to share if they would like to.

ROGER’S BIO

Originally from New Zealand, Roger’s missions journey has taken him across the globe. He has lived in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, and Scotland, and has travelled extensively throughout Asia, Europe, and South America.

Roger first visited Japan at 18 on a short-term missions trip, and from that moment, he developed a deep passion for the nation and its people. Whether church planting there in the early 2000s or returning on regular visits since, he remains deeply committed to seeing God's purposes fulfilled in Japan.

Today, Roger leads Praxeis New Zealand, part of a global movement active in over 25 nations. Praxeis is dedicated to catalysing Disciple Making Movements by joining God in His mission to reach all people with the gospel.

KEVIN’S BIO

Kevin came to Japan three years ago with YWAM and served with them for two years. After that, he joined an organisation called Biglife, which focuses on making disciples who make disciples and on simple, reproducible gatherings. Before coming to Japan, Kevin was engaged in Disciple Making Movements (DMM) in his hometown in Michigan for eight years. He is now actively going out to find people of peace and equipping the local church to reach out and make disciples.

JEF’S BIO

Jef came to Japan from NZ with YWAM in 1992, married Aya in 1996, and they have three sons.

They have been working since 2005 years pioneering new ways and wineskins to see a whole nation reached and discipled. These include disciple making movement, simple church, men’s discipleship, passionate worship, and healing and deliverance in the power of the Holy Spirit. They run Onfire Japan media ministry and are deeply connected relationally with a network of brothers and sisters in Christ all around Japan.
