日本におけるメンタリング
日本の教会全体において、メンタリングは不足しています。メンタリングとは何でしょうか？ どのように機能するのでしょうか？ なぜ日本に必要なのでしょうか？
マーティ・ウッズは17歳のときから50年以上にわたりメンタリングに携わってきました。2年前に『A Willing Spirit』の英語版を出版し、この書籍は2023年にオーストラリアの Eternity 誌により「その年の注目すべきクリスチャン書籍」の一つに選ばれました。その後、ポーランド語、インドネシア語（バハサ）、そして今回日本語に翻訳されました。
9月24日（水）、お茶の水クリスチャン・センターにて、日本語版の出版記念イベントが開催されます。池田恵賜牧師（本郷台キリスト教会）、金子道仁参議院議員により発表が行われます。
現在マーティは30人以上の日本人男性をメンタリングしており、そのうち数名が自らの成長や使命にどのように影響したかを証しします。またマーティ自身も、日本において信者・未信者双方の男性にどのように携わっているのか、そこで学び続けていることを分かち合います。
当日参加者には、日本語版書籍を1冊無料で差し上げます（追加購入は割引価格で可能です）。

A Willing Spirit – Mentoring and the Human Spirit (Japanese edition) - Book Launch Event
Mentoring in Japan
Across the Japanese Church there is a shortage of mentoring. What is it? How does it work? Why do we need it in Japan?
Marty Woods has been mentoring for over 50 years, beginning at age 17. Two years ago, he released A Willing Spirit, selected in 2023 by Eternity Magazine (Australia) as one of the most noteworthy Christian books of the year. It has since been translated into Polish, Bahasa, and now Japanese.
On Wednesday, 24th September at the OCC Centre, the Japanese edition will be launched by Pastor Keishi Ikeda (Hongodai Christ Church) and Michi Kaneko, a member of the Upper House.
Marty currently mentors over 30 Japanese men, and some will share testimonies of how mentoring has shaped their growth and mission. Marty himself will also share what he continues to learn about reaching both believing and non-believing men in Japan.
Everyone who attends will receive a free copy of the Japanese book (additional copies available at a discount).
