The introduction to our Purity Movement Seminar on Nov 27, 2018.
We believe that God is going to bring a purity movement in Japan. We believe that this is the time that He has chosen to bring a revelation of the goodness of His ways to Japan.
On November 27, 2018 in Osaka (Be One Osaka Church), we will begin the conversation of what the purity movement means to Japan, and why it matters. We want to invite each of you who have a sense of God’s calling to purity to join us. We want to join hearts together with one another, to seek God to come into Japan and bring a revelation of His ways to the heart of the Japanese.
We will be covering topics such as sexual integrity and why it matters to walk in God’s ways for purity, freedom and restoration, abortion, and pornography through four short sessions. Each session will be followed by a time for discussion and questions.
The purity movement is about God’s standard of holiness in relationships. Purity touches each part of the fabric of society in some way, and is relevant to men, women, young and old, singles, couples, and families.
The purity movement is part of evangelism and discipleship. Many people are inhibited in their walk with God because of ensnarement of sin.
The purity movement is about going back to the Bible, seeking the One who created us to find out the perfect ways He designed for our freedom and wholeness and abundance in life.
Right now, there is an openness in Japan in the conversation of sexuality, as Japan looks to fill in the gaps in sex education. A young man in an NHK interview said, “I haven’t learned about sex at school, so I can’t tell what’s right or wrong. I don’t seem to find the answer even though I think about it.”
Christians have been given the manual for living according to God’s best plan for us, and the world is without a compass right now. His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness (2 Peter 1:3).
Let us sing of the ways of the Lord in Japan.
