Do you believe?

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 1 Corinthians 1:18

You read through Romans 1-8 over these past few weeks, now read over these verses aloud, and after reading, pray out the verses to God. Thank Him, express your amazement, express your desires.

Example prayer prompts:
* Lord, thank You that/for..
.
* Lord, it is amazing that...
* Lord, it is wonderful that...
* Lord, please help me to...

BUT NOW! A righteousness from God has been made known! This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. Romans 3:21-25a

God demonstrated His love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

Do you believe? What does it mean to believe?

[Abraham] did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. Romans 4:20-21

God will credit righteousness to all who believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. Jesus was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification. Romans 4:24-25

I believe!
