What does it look like for me to delight myself in You? What does ‘delight’ mean to You? Teach me from Your Word, Lord.
Delight1 yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires (request, petition, desire) of your heart. Psalm 37:4 ESV
If you turn back your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on my holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight2 and the holy day of the LORD honorable; if you honor it, not going your own ways, or seeking your own pleasure, or talking idly; then you shall take delight in the LORD, and I will make you ride on the heights of the earth; I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father, for the mouth of the LORD has spoken. Isaiah 58:13-14 ESV
Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and your soul will delight in the richest of fare. Give ear and come to Me; hear me, that your soul may live. Isaiah 55:2b-3a
I delight3 to sit in His shade.... His left arm is under my head, and His right arm embraces me. Song of Songs 2:3b, 6
I delight4 GREATLY in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God.
For He has clothed me with garments of salvation (deliverance, rescue, safety, victory, prosperity) Isaiah 61:10
Then I will go to the altar of God, to God, my joy and my delight5. I will praise you with the lyre, O God, my God. Psalm 43:4
When your words came, I ate them; they were my joy6 and my heart’s delight, for I bear your name, Lord God Almighty. Jeremiah 15:16

The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice12 over you with singing. Zephaniah 3:17
So the King will greatly desire13 your beauty; Because He is your Lord, worship Him. Psalm 45:11
One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek14 : that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty15 of the LORD and to seek him in his temple... My heart says of you, “Seek his face!” Your face, Lord, I will seek. Psalm 27:4, 8
May those who delight16 in my vindication shout for joy and gladness; may they always say, "The LORD be exalted, who delights in the well-being of his servant." Psalm 35:27
They celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness. Psalm 145:7
Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice. Psalm 105:3
May those who fear17 you rejoice when they see me, for I have put my hope in your word. Psalm 119:74
He fulfills the desires18 of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them. Psalm 145:19

As a young man marries a young woman, so will your Builder marry you; as a bridegroom rejoices19 over his bride, so will your God rejoice over you. Isaiah 62:5
